Welcome to the Art of Death Conference & Exhibition 2015
We are happy to be in the middle of rolling out the details of the 2015 conference. Our conference is nine packed days of classes, workshops, presentations, concerts, film festival, and more. This year’s theme is: “The Web We Weave.” This theme of how we can get tangled in the sticky paths or threads of end of life issues, or how we can utilize the web of support to truly carry us across the unknown path towards death. We are pleased to be partnering this year with the Bellingham Public Library to provide us a wonderful space for most of our conference in their Historic Fairhaven Library.
We are also excited to be in the lovely Whatcom Museum’s Lightcatcher Building for our Main Event; The Web We Weave, on Saturday October 10th.
Our conference is open to the public and is an open schedule of classes/offerings that allows you to attend what you feel curious about rather than a retreat or seminar where you are locked into attending only certain offerings. Most of our classes, presentations, workshops and films are free, with a few exceptions. Please see our schedule of events page to get more details. No preregistration is necessary for most offerings. It will indicate on the schedule and on the Presentation Description if there is a fee or preregistration required.
We hope you will find useful and interesting information about death and dying that will maybe help you or your family shift the way we look at death.
